The care of your bedding directly affects its lifespan, hygiene, and sleep comfort. Proper washing, drying, and storage methods can make your bedding more durable and healthier.

Washing Frequency: Adjust according to usage

General Recommendation: Wash sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases weekly to remove sweat, dander, oil, and other contaminants, and prevent dust mites.

Special Groups or Situations Require More Frequent Washing:
For those with allergies, asthma, or skin conditions: Wash every 3 to 5 days.
For households with pets: Wash weekly using an antibacterial detergent.

During illness: Increase washing frequency to prevent cross-infection.

If you notice obvious stains or odors: Replace and wash immediately.

Washing Methods: Treat by Material to Protect Fabric

Washing methods according to material:

Pure Cotton: Machine wash in warm water (around 40℃) with a neutral detergent. Avoid bleach. Washing inside out can reduce fading.

Silk/Silk Floss: Dry cleaning is recommended. If hand washing is possible, use cold water and a neutral silk and wool detergent, gently hand wash, avoid direct sunlight, and air dry in a well-ventilated area.

Down/Wool Comforters: Frequent washing is not recommended. Professional dry cleaning is best to avoid damaging the loft and down-proof properties.

Synthetic Fiber Comforters (e.g., nine-hole comforters): Machine washable, but not for extended periods to avoid fiber deformation.

Silk Comforters: Do not wash; spot clean only. Air drying is recommended for daily use.

Washing Tips:

Water Temperature Control: Hot water (55–65℃) effectively kills bacteria and mites, but the fabric's tolerance must be checked.

Avoid Mixing: Wash dark and light colors and different materials separately to prevent staining or damage.

Use Laundry Bags: Use laundry bags for items with zippers or prone to snagging to prevent pilling.
