In winter, it's recommended to change your sheets and pillowcases every two weeks, and your duvet sheet every month. In summer, it's recommended to change your sheets and pillowcases weekly, and your duvet sheet every two weeks. This is the optimal frequency considering hygiene, seasonal changes, and health needs.

Adjusting the Changing Frequency According to the Season Different seasons bring significant differences in human metabolism and environmental conditions, directly affecting the rate at which bedding becomes soiled:

Summer (High Temperature and Humidity) Increased sweating and sebum secretion make sheets and pillowcases prone to bacterial and mite growth.

Recommendation:

Sheets and pillowcases: Change weekly. Duvet sheet: Change every two weeks. If you sweat a lot at night, you can shorten the change interval to 3-5 days.

Winter (Low Temperature and Dryness) Less sweating and slower microbial growth, but thick blankets can create a warm microenvironment, so regular cleaning is still necessary.

Recommendation:

Sheets and pillowcases: Change every two weeks. Duvet sheet: Change monthly.

During spring and autumn, when temperatures are moderate, dust mites are more active. It is recommended to replace the dust mites every 10–15 days, which is between summer and winter.
